The biggest feature of frameless glass door is that there is no fixed frame around its door leaf (glass), which is different from ordinary doors such as aluminum alloy door and plastic steel door. Frameless glass doors generally use 8~12mm tempered glass as the door leaf, which is fixed up and down with decorative frames or directly with clips. The ground needs to be buried with ground springs.

The frameless glass door is almost transparent, so it has good lighting performance and can be used in any combination. It is generally used in shopping malls, hotels, offices and other places.
 

Installation steps
1. The installation of fixed partition wall shall be carried out after the construction of other processes indoors is basically completed. The fixed glass partition and movable glass door leaf must be set out and positioned uniformly, and the positioning line of the partition and glass door shall be set out according to the requirements of the design drawing to determine the position of the door frame, and accurately measure the ground elevation and the top elevation of the door frame.
 

2. The width of the limit groove at the top of the glass partition wall and door shall be 2~4mm greater than the glass thickness, and the groove depth shall be 20~30mm for glue injection. The installation method can lead out two edge lines of metal trim panel from the snapped center line, and then install the limit slot at the top of the door frame according to the edge line. The wood backing plate in the notch is used to adjust the depth of the notch. Adjust by increasing or decreasing the base plate.
 

3. Install metal facing wooden bottom bracket. The installation method can be to nail the square wood on the original embedded wood brick, or nail the square wood through expansion bolts to fix the square wood on the ground, and then stick the metal decorative panel to the wood with universal glue. The aluminum alloy square tube can be fixed on the frame column with aluminum corners or on the wood bricks buried in the ground with wood screws.
 

4. Install the rigid door frame. Nail the square timber of the door frame according to the snapped center line, and then use plywood to determine the overall size and location of the door frame column (note that the size of the decorative surface should be deducted). Finally, the metal decorative surface shall be wrapped. When wrapping, the facing seam shall be placed in the middle of both sides of the glass installation. The position of joints must be accurate and vertical.
 

5. Glass installation. Use a glass suction cup (or glass suction cup machine) to suck the thick glass tightly, and then hold the suction cup to lift the thick glass plate by 2-3 people and move it to the installation site for preparation. Positioning method: insert the upper part of the glass into the limit slot at the top of the door frame, and then place the lower part of the glass on the bottom bracket to align the centerline, and align the installation position of the door frames on both sides, so that the two sides of the thick glass just seal the metal facing butt joint of the door frame, and it is required that no facing joint can be seen inside or outside.
 

6. Glass fixing. Nail two flat square wooden strips inside and outside the bottom joist to clamp the thick glass in the middle, but leave a gap of about 4mm from the thick glass plate, and then apply universal glue on the flat square wooden strip to stick the facing metal plate on the square wood and two flat square wooden strips.
 

7. Fill glass glue for sealing. Inject glass glue into the gap on both sides of the top root slot, both sides of the bottom bracket glass slot and the butt joint between the thick glass and the door frame column. The injection sequence shall start from the end of a gap to the end, and shall not stop halfway. The key points of operation are as follows: the pressure of gripping the caulking gun handle shall be uniform, and the speed of moving along the gap shall be uniform, that is, with the extrusion of glass glue, the glue injection opening shall be moved at a uniform speed, so that the glass glue forms a uniform straight line at the gap. Finally, scrape off the excess glass adhesive with a plastic sheet and wipe off the adhesive with a clean cloth
 

8. Butt joint between glasses. The thick glass plate of the fixed part must be assembled by two or more pieces due to the excessive width. The two pieces must be aligned and spliced to form a joint. The butt joint should be 2~3mm away (the glass cut of the joint must be reversed). After the glass is fixed, the glass glue shall be used in the gap. After filling, the glue shall also be scraped with plastic sheets to make the gap form a clean and even straight line. Clean the glue mark on the glass surface with a clean cloth.
